Asset Management
Asset Management
We, at Power Engineering Services, design or assist in the design of an ASSET MANAGEMENT PLAN – a combination of condition monitoring and just in time strategic maintenance activities. Condition monitoring allows strategic maintenance to be scheduled and planned, when it is necessary and is required, not too frequently or early and not to late.
Performing maintenance too frequently can have very little benefit and be very costly, with plant and equipment being taken out of service and production unnecessarily interrupted. Performing maintenance infrequently can equally be very costly with plant and equipment being subjected to unplanned shutdowns and delays.
Performing the right maintenance activity at the right time provides best value for you. At Power Engineering Services, we have developed electrical asset management procedures, frequency of maintenance activities, recording and verification documents based on the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) recommendations, AS 2467 – 2008 and relevant equipment standards to offer asset management solutions for our customers.
Condition monitoring of power system assets is a very effective strategy used by many successful asset owners. For our clients to maximise the use of their assets, we provide a service to effectively maintain and monitor them. We also develop asset maintenance strategies and plans and work in conjunction with our clients to implement these strategies.
To assist you with this, we provide the following services.
